An 18-minute visual/physical theatre piece depicting a person’s psychological landscape and personal search for hope through a series of metaphorical images of the oceanic world. Loosely based on Freud’s theories of psychoanalysis and Jung’s archetypes.
A man’s unconscious world is portrayed as a dive into an ocean, reaching deeper into his core as the piece progresses. The man’s emotional and psychological traits and flaws take the form of distorted sea creatures, guiding him into a journey towards the deconstruction and reconstruction of his identity and finally self-fulfillment.
We aim to bring attention to the issues of stress at the workplace and human impact on the environment.
All costumes and sets are created using recycled or second-hand materials.
